Know Your Prompt

Knowing prompt is really important. If you don’t know what your prompt exactly is, how are you going to write about it? Before you start writing, understand your prompt completely.

Analyze the prompt thoroughly. Take some time to think about your prompt. If required, divide it into phrases and look at each aspect separately. Think from the admission officer’s point of you, what they want you to write? why would he ask this prompt? How does this prompt relate to your ability to excel in college?

It may seem like you are wasting time in thinking and you should start writing how to start an essay. Believe me, you are wrong, thinking and analyzing processes will save you a lot of time in the long run. If you later realize you have misunderstood the prompt, you’ll have to write your essay once again from scratch.

Be Yourself

Be genuine. After all, there is no one else like you. You are unique, you have your own personality, you are quite different from others, your life experiences are different from others, your perspective about life distinguishes you from others.

So be true to yourself, don’t hesitate to share your story. Do not think your story is not worth it. If you are writing on something you are very passionate about or something that has had a true impact on your life, the authenticity, meaning and passion will automatically come alive on the page and the reader can easily hear your voice.

Organize Your Thoughts

This step might seem like completely skippable, but organizing your thought will help you organize your writing. A good writing plan and organized outline can streamline or even eliminate the need to do any rewrites.

Do some brainstorming session, note down whatever comes in your write essay for me, make an outline and organize your points. Plan how you’re going to explain each of your thought and main points.

Show That You Have Done Your Research

Writing a college essay requires a lot of research. You might know a lot of things about your prompt but still, you need to do some adequate research. You need to check if you have missed any update on the prompt, or is there any other perspective of the prompt which is not in your mind.

If you have complete knowledge of the prompt, there is no way you can’t write a good essay. It only happens when you don’t have complete knowledge of the topic or if your writing skills are not good enough.

Keep in mind that the college admission officers don’t know you. They want to know you personally that’s why they are reading your essay. So, this is your chance to impress them. Don’t tell them that you are passionate about something, show them through your strong examples. When you have done an adequate amount of research it will automatically show in your examples.

Unique and Attention-Grabbing Introduction

Introduction paragraph - the first paragraph of the write my essay- meant to grab the reader’s attention. If your introductory paragraph got successful in getting the reader’s interest there is no way he’s going to leave your essay in the middle.

Use a hook statement or start with a good anecdote which makes the reader want to stay and read your essay. You can use dialogue; vivid language can help you as well. The point is, don’t be boring, try to write your story in a unique and interesting way that leaves a lasting impression on the admission officer’s mind.
